American rock band renowned for fusion of progressive rock, jazz, and pop, achieving massive commercial success in the 1980s.
Formed in San Francisco by ex-Santana members Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie. Released multi-platinum albums 'Escape' (1981) and 'Frontiers' (1983). Inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. Over 100 million records sold worldwide.
