Irish indie rock band known for infectious synth-driven melodies and energetic performances.Formed in Bangor, Northern Ireland in 2007, the trio gained international fame with their debut album 'Tourist History' (2010). • The band name originated from lead singer Alex Trimble's mispronunciation of the local Tudor Cinema as 'Two Door Cinema'.
• After near-implosion due to exhaustion following their second album 'Beacon' (2012), they took a hiatus in 2014. Guitarist Sam Halliday publicly discussed his depression during this period.
