Japanese composer, guitarist, and music producer renowned for his iconic rock and electronic soundtracks for the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series.Born in Japan in 1970, Jun Senoue joined SEGA in 1993. He rapidly became a key composer and sound designer for the Sonic franchise, starting with Sonic the Hedgehog 3. His signature guitar-driven rock style, heavily featured in Sonic Adventure (1998) and Sonic Adventure 2 (2001), defined the sound of Sonic for a generation. He co-founded the band Crush 40 to perform vocal themes for the games. Senoue remains a central figure in SEGA's sound team, contributing music to numerous Sonic titles and other SEGA games like Daytona USA and Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, while also releasing solo work.

• Senoue met his future wife, vocalist Johnny Gioeli (lead singer of Hardline and Axel Rudi Pell), while producing music for Sonic Adventure. Their collaboration led to the formation of Crush 40.
• Despite being primarily known as a composer, Senoue is also a highly skilled guitarist and bassist, often performing live with Crush 40 at events like the Summer of Sonic and Sonic Symphony.

• Beyond Sonic, Senoue composed the memorable soundtrack for the arcade classic Daytona USA, including the famous vocal theme "Rolling Start" (also known as "Daytona!").
