David Glen Eisley: Biography of the Rock Vocalist

American rock singer and songwriter, known for his powerful lead vocals with bands Giuffria and Dirty White Boy, and solo work. David Glen Eisley is an American rock vocalist best known as the lead singer of the 1980s band Giuffria, formed by keyboardist Gregg Giuffria after leaving Angel. He later fronted the band Dirty White Boy. Eisley also pursued a solo career and contributed vocals to film soundtracks, most notably the song 'Burn in the Third Degree' for Beverly Hills Cop III. He is part of a notable entertainment family; his daughter is actress/singer Chauntal Lewis, and he is the son of actor Anthony Eisley.
  • Eisley is part of a multi-generational entertainment dynasty. His father was actor Anthony Eisley (star of 'Hawaiian Eye'), his mother was actress and model Constance Towers, his daughter is actress Chauntal Lewis (from his marriage to soap actress Tricia Cast), and his granddaughter is actress Kiernan Shipka ('Mad Men', 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina').
  • A persistent misconception links Eisley to singing on Ronnie James Dio's 'Holy Diver' album. While Dio's band featured members who later played with Gregg Giuffria (like guitarist Craig Goldy), Eisley himself did not perform on Dio's albums. He did, however, sing on Goldy's solo album 'Innocent Eyes'.
  • Beyond music, Eisley has acting credits, appearing in films like 'The Gate II' (1990) and 'The Skateboard Kid II' (1995), often leveraging his rock image.
