Steven Verhelst

Belgian composer, organist, and conductor specializing in contemporary sacred music and organ repertoireBorn in 1972, Steven Verhelst studied at the Lemmens Institute (Leuven) and Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Appointed titular organist at St. Rumbold's Cathedral in Mechelen in 1999. Composes liturgical works, organ pieces, and choral music. Active as conductor of vocal ensembles and educator at LUCA School of Arts.
