"Die Moorsoldaten" (The Peat Bog Soldiers) is a protest song created by prisoners in the Börgermoor camp in 1933. Herbert Zipper, an Austrian composer, arranged the melody, while Jura Soyfer, a Jewish-Austrian writer, penned the lyrics. It became a symbol of defiance against fascism.
