"Heartaches" is a jazz ballad composed by John Klenner with lyrics by Al Hoffman, famously recorded by Al Bowlly in 1931. Its melancholic melody became iconic in the crooner era and was later sampled in The Caretaker's "It's Just a Burning Memory", introducing it to new audiences.
