"Feeling Good" is a song written by English composers Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the 1965 musical The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd. It became a jazz standard recorded by numerous artists, but Muse's powerful rock version from their 2001 album Origin of Symmetry brought the song to a new generation. Their dramatic, bass-driven interpretation featuring Matthew Bellamy's operatic vocals has become one of the band's signature songs, often praised for its minimalist arrangement that builds to an explosive climax.
