"Clair de lune" is the third and most famous movement of Debussy's Suite bergamasque. Composed around 1890, it wasn't published until 1905. The piece is known for its atmospheric and impressionistic qualities, featuring delicate arpeggios and harmonic innovations that broke from traditional classical forms. Its title was inspired by Paul Verlaine's poem of the same name.
