The "Bridal Chorus" from Richard Wagner's 1850 opera Lohengrin is one of the most recognizable pieces of wedding music. Traditionally known as "Here Comes the Bride" in English-speaking countries, it is typically played during the entrance of the bride. Interestingly, Wagner never intended this piece to become wedding music - it was originally composed for the opera where it accompanies the wedding scene in Act III.
