The Blues Brothers - Rawhide

"The Blues Brothers" is a musical comedy duo created by comedians Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi. The duo originated from a musical sketch on the television show "Saturday Night Live" in the 1970s and later expanded into two successful movies, "The Blues Brothers" (1980) and "Blues Brothers 2000" (1998).

One of the memorable scenes from the first movie, "The Blues Brothers," features the song "Rawhide." In this scene, the Blues Brothers perform a spirited and comical rendition of "Rawhide" at Bob's Country Bunker, a venue known for its country music. The performance involves the band adapting the Western TV series theme song "Rawhide" into a lively and energetic blues-style arrangement.

Interestingly, "Rawhide" was originally written by Ned Washington and composed by Dimitri Tiomkin for the 1958 Western TV series "Rawhide." The song became popular and has been covered by various artists in different genres. The Blues Brothers' version adds their unique comedic and musical touch, making it a standout moment in the film.
