Felix Mendelssohn - Wedding March

Felix Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" is one of the most recognizable pieces of wedding music, originally composed as part of his incidental music for William Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1842. It gained popularity as a recessional piece after being played at the wedding of Princess Victoria Adelaide Mary Louise, the eldest child of Queen Victoria, to Prince Frederick William of Prussia in 1858.
