Florence + The Machine emerged from London's music scene in 2007. Frontwoman Florence Welch (born August 28, 1986) formed the band after a spontaneous performance of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' at a club. The name originated from Florence's teenage collaboration with Isabella 'Machine' Summers, her childhood friend and initial bandmate....
